Born in Rangoon on the 25th February, 1873. Educated at the Rangoon College and took B.A. degree in 1892. Won the Governor of Renaung’s Prize in 1888, and the Jardine Prize in 1890. Entered Government Service by competitive examination in 1898. Joined the Judicial side as a Subordinate Judge in 1905. Promoted to a District Judgeship in 1919, and elevated to the High Court Bench in March, 1925. Decorated with the K.S.M. in 1920. Married to Ma Mya Bwin, and has five children, Ma Than Tin, Nyun Nyun, Kin Mya, Maung Maung, and Maung Gale. Recreation: Tennis. Club Orient Club, Rangoon. Address: High Court, Rangoon.
